I go grocery shopping, because I'm an average guy like the rest of you, and I'm not about that Whole Foods life. If only I could be. But no, I put on my pants one leg at a time and I go shopping at the Hannaford. For the most part, they've got a good selection. They're always really clean. But man, I come from Chicago and used to work in the deli/kitchen of a grocery store and I gotta say, the fried chicken at the Saco Hannaford, it just doesn't represent. All things considered though, they got some pescado fresco if you feel me, and this boy's gottsta get his slammin' salmon on. One of the employees tried to convince me to quit smoking when I bought a pack of cigarettes. I have since then quit, but it's not because of her.

I came to this place for a meal, and all I and all I had to do to find it was turn to my right. There is an extensive hot and cold food area, with hot rotisserie chickens and delicious precooked, heat-and-eat foods like macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and all manner of complementary vegetables. Moreover, there's the whole rest of the grocery store if you need to make other purchases, like carbonated drinks or iced tea. If you have an appetite and a microwave, or just need to stock up your refrigerator, this place isn't half-bad.

All the hannafords are great to shop at but if you have tons of food allergies like i do they have spread the foods throughout the entire store making it more difficult to find what you need. I have to shop at several different stores just to find the foods that i can eat. The least they could do would be to put the organic food back the way it used to be to make it easier for people with allergies. I spend enough time cooking everyday and now i have to go from store to store and isle after aisle which is very time consuming and frustrating. Its hard to live like a normal person does.

Excellent remodel design in 2017 with easy flow and access throughout. Liquor and wine is not adjacent to produce as they are in Scarborough, which is a definite design flaw and disconnect from what customers really want. Customer service is adequate and easily located throughout the store. Product are always well stocked and faced - well done!

The selection here is amazing and it is a very nice store that had just been remodeled. They added a good size alcohol area in the corner of the store and they usually always have fresh produce and meat. I gave this 4 starts because sometimes the staff isn't always all that friendly. Never rude but just not at all very engaging.
