the building is a bit outdated, and you can't walk inside. the ice cream is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. the drive thru is nice.
I am a retired Navy veteran visiting my home state from Virginia with my 3 children, ordered two vanilla shakes, while walking back to hotel, my daughter who is allergic to peanuts, discovered CHUNKS OF NUTS in the vanilla shake!1, I took the shakes the back the answer I got is we use the same blender for everything?? One blender?? Ok how about cleaning or rinsing off the blender?? I got a bunch of dumb looks, left the shakes to disgusted to fight for my money back, this is totally unsatisfactory, I have been to many many dairy queens all over the country and never heard that explanation, they also said if we had a nut allergy we should have said something, again for a vanilla shake??
I feel like I shouldn't have had to scoop three handfuls of ice cream into the trash just to get the ice cream level below the rim o. The cup. It was annoying that the two high school aged kids running the show didn't seem to care.
This is a Triple Truffle Blizzard,it was a bit soft but delicious.
Staff were friendly and quick. My blizzard was tasty and hit the spot on a hot afternoon. It was easy to get to despite heavy traffic.
Great soft serve ice cream, and some pretty good toppings to choose from. Downfall to this visit was that when I ordered a small Blizzard, I was expecting to get a small cup with a small amount of ice cream. What I received was an enormous amount of ice cream sticking at least an inch above the tiny cup. I may not have been upset if it were for me, but it was for my 4 year old who can not come anywhere near eating that much ice cream before it started melting all over everything.
